Meet Mama Love
Welcome to Kawaii Spectrum — a heart-centered space inspired by the real-life ups, downs, and deep love of raising two incredible autistic boys.
At the core of this world is Mama Love, a warm, hugging heart who supports JoJo & JayJay's Friends through every meltdown, milestone, and magical moment.
These characters were created to reflect the real needs of neurodiverse kids — and the big feelings their families often face. Each one was born from our journey:

Together with Mama Love, they form a crew that helps kids feel seen
— and helps parents feel supported.
Certified in "Understanding Behavior" through Harbor Regional Center (February 2025). This parent training program focuses on positive behavior supports, emotional regulation, and autism advocacy.
This isn’t just a blog. It’s a soft place to land. A place of calm, color, and kindness for families like yours.
My Story
Parenting on the spectrum isn’t easy. It’s filled with moments no one else sees — quiet wins, public stares, and deep, tender love.
I built Kawaii Spectrum out of the hardest and most beautiful parts of that journey. I’m a mom of two autistic boys, and through our everyday struggles — with routines, transitions, meltdowns, and missed words — I discovered that my children responded to visuals, stories, and emotional characters more than anything else.
So I started creating them — characters based on what we needed:

A puzzle piece that could help us talk about feelings (JoJo).

A spinner who never gives up (JayJay).

A guide to bring us back to calm (Calmy).

A safe way to roar and be strong (Zilla).

A friend who thrives on steps and patterns (Robo).

A soft buddy for sleep (Star Pal).
-
And someone who says “It’s okay to protect your senses” (Mimi).
And through it all — always hugging from the background — is Mama Love, the character I created to represent what I strive to be: calm, safe, supportive.
Kawaii Spectrum isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress.
It’s about giving families like ours the tools, visuals, and heart-centered reminders that you’re not alone. You are loved. You are doing so much more than you realize.
